ANCIENT MIMBRES MOTIFS
I have had so many requests for American Indian designs and especially the Indians of the South West. The Mimbres Indians are long gone but their designs live on. Traditionally they were used on pottery and items that they used for daily living. They are also traditionally done in black and white but look nice in any color.
I have digitized these designs in three different sizes. The regular size hoop that take 4x4 and also sized for the SEW format. Then the 5x7 and 8x8 hoops.
They are all done in one color and I have worked very hard to eliminate jump stitches except where unavoidable and then I tried to place them for the easiest clipping. Since the designs are done in one color there are no stops while stitching. They are extremely detailed and look fabulous. These images look a little smudged but that is because they are the scanned stitch outs and I did my best to eliminate the background. A brief explanation of each comes with the designs.
